Cookie Policy
VE Ai, Inc.
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies ve.ai uses, what each one does, and how to turn off the ones that are optional. It covers the ve.ai website and the Ve web app.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. It lets the site recognise your browser on the next request, which is how you stay signed in between page loads. Some cookies are set by us; some are set by third parties whose code we run.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These make signing in work. Without them the product cannot keep you authenticated, and they cannot be turned off from within the product.
3. Functional cookies
4. Analytics
We use PostHog to understand which pages people use and where they get stuck. It records product and page events tied to a pseudonymous identifier rather than to your name or the contents of your mailbox.
Your email content is never sent to PostHog, or to any other analytics or advertising provider.
5. Advertising
The LinkedIn Insight Tag runs on our marketing pages. It lets us measure whether people who saw a LinkedIn ad went on to sign up, and it lets LinkedIn show Ve ads to people who have visited this site. It is set by LinkedIn, and LinkedIn’s own cookie policy governs it.
6. Turning cookies off
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in. Blocking the analytics and advertising ones does not affect the product.
Most browsers also send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, and many ad and tracker blockers will stop the PostHog and LinkedIn scripts loading at all. We do not work around any of them.
7. Changes and contact
If we add or remove a cookie, we update this page. Questions about anything here go to privacy@ve.ai.
